Day 01
Meet upon arrival Kuching International Airport and depart direct for a 2 Hours orientation tour around Kuching.

Day 02
Breakfast at the Hotel - 2 Days / 1 Night Lemanak Longhouse
AM A 225 km car/coach journey takes you through lush green countryside dotted with padi fieldspepper gardens and rubber plantations and flanked by rugged jungle-clad mountains. Along the waystop off at the Serian farmer’s market visit a pepper garden and view carnivorous pitcher plants. Stop for lunch at a roadside bazaar deep in Iban country. Arrive at Lemanak jetty mid-afternoon for a longboat ride up the Lemanak River passing through typical Borneo countryside with a longhouse tucked behind almost every bend in the river. Arrive at Serubah Longhouse and visit the “entire village under one roof.” Dinner featuring delicious fresh jungle produce is served in the simple guest-house. After dinner return to the longhouse for an evening’s entertainment including traditional dancing, music, games and a glass or two of tuak (rice wine) with the longhouse chief. The Iban are a fun-loving people and visitors are expected to join in! Overnight in the guest house with basic amenities (No Air-condition and No private room for individuals) as the accommodation is built by the Longhouse people to help supplement their income for their livelihood and children education.

Day 03
After breakfast enjoy a blowpipe demonstration and try shooting one yourself.
Take a short walk through the forest accompanied by Iban trackers learn about the traditional uses of rainforest plants in Iban Culture.
Return down river to the jetty to start your overland journey to the Batang Ai Jetty.
Lunch will be provided enroute at a small local café.
After a 30 minutes boat ride across the 24 sq km Batang Ai Hydro Lake arrive at the luxurious Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort.

Day 04
Depart for boat trip up river to visit a waterfall (subject to water level & weather condition)
Go for further trekking or jungle walk around the vicinity.
Lunch is cooked at the riverside in traditional Iban style – all ingredients are steamed in freshly cut bamboo tubes over an open fire.
Relax by the waterside before return to Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse.

AM Bako National Park ( Daytrip ) with Lunch
This small peninsula, 1 ½ hours from Kuching by car and longboat, is home to seven distinct rainforest ecosystems, giving it a remarkable diversity of animal and plant life. Bako’s most famous residents are the bizarre proboscis monkeys, and it is also home to silvered langurs (leaf monkeys), long-tailed macaque monkeys, wild boar, flying squirrels and monitor lizards as well as hundreds of different bird species. Fascinating plant life includes mangroves, strangling figs, carnivorous pitcher plants and symbiotic ant plants. Unique geological features mark the coastline, including the famous Sea Stack, whilst well-marked trails lead to rugged jungle-covered hilltops and secluded beaches. Packed lunch is included.

Day 07

Departure transfer to airport
Meet on arrival at Mulu airport and transfer to your choice of accommodation. In the afternoon we will be transferred to Mulu Park HQ and take the 3km plank walk to explore Lang's and Deer Caves. Watch the bats flights if weather permit and return to the Park HQ and transfer to Royal Mulu Resort

Day 08
Breakfast. We will depart by longboat to explore Wind Cave with a stopover at the Penan Longhouse. Later we proceed to explore Clear water cave. Swim and lunch at Local Restaurant before you are transferred to your accommodation.

This award-winning living museum showcases Sarawak’s unique and diverse cultures in an accessible, visitor-friendly setting just 35 minutes from Kuching. The seven authentic traditional buildings are set amidst a scenic 17 acre site and are populated by members of Sarawak’s many ethnic groups, going about everyday activities. These include wood and bamboo carving, bead work, weaving, sago-making, sugar-cane crushing, pepper-growing and the preparation of bird’s nests. Visitors can learn how to throw a Malay spinning top, shoot a Penan blowpipe or pick out a tune on an Orang Ulu sape. The tour concludes with a colourful multi-ethnic cultural performance in the village’s air-conditioned mini-theatre.
